Camera Club Hub was created by myself, David Kingham. I’m a professional photographer who noticed a disconnect between camera clubs, presenters, and photographers who were looking for a camera club, so I created this site!
The core features of Camera Club Hub are listed below, these main features will remain completely free to help out the community!
- Camera clubs can list their club in the directory to help them be found by other amateur photographers.
- Professional photographers can list their presentations in the presenters’ directory to help camera clubs find presenters for their club
- Camera clubs or even members of the camera club can leave reviews on the presentations to help clubs find the best presentations out there.
- Camera clubs can message the presenters to work out the details of the price and schedule.
- Camera clubs can have a private discussion forum for their club here on the site. This would be an area where members of the club can discuss photography or share photos. This is similar to a private Facebook group without all the nastiness that comes along with Facebook of abusing user’s data, etc.
You’re probably wondering, “no cost, what’s the catch?!?”. There’s no catch. I saw an opportunity to help out the community, and after building the Nature Photographers Network I had the skills to develop this site as well without a ton of effort, so I did it! In the future I plan to have some premium features that will help to cover the costs of running the site, but my goal is to keep the primary features of the site free.
